Acrylonitrile (AN)

AN is used as material for many applications in human daily life.
Acrylic fiber is used for clothes, carpet, blanket, carbon fiber, and hair piece and doll hair. Plastic ABS with strength, chemical and heat resistance, so plastic ABS is used in automotive part and electric appliances. Plastic SAN with the hardness strength and transparent color so plastic SAN is used as a food container box and lighter. Nitrile rubber is a synthetic rubber which is mostly used for surgery gloves.

PTTAC is the only one manufacturer of AN product in Thailand.
